The Oxford and Cambridge Society of Kenya (OCSK), in collaboration with the British High Commission in Kenya, is pleased to organise two pre-departure events for students joining the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge in 2026.
If you know a student who will be starting at Oxford or Cambridge this year, we would be grateful if you could share this invitation with them. New students receiving this message directly are warmly invited to join us.

Virtual session with former Oxford and Cambridge students

4 September 2026 | 10:30–12:00 EAT (tentative)
In-person reception by the British High Commission in Kenya
The virtual session will give new students an opportunity to learn about life in the UK, hear from former Oxbridge students, ask practical questions and benefit from their experiences ahead of departure.
The reception on 4 September will provide an opportunity for new students to meet one another, members of the Oxbridge community in Kenya and representatives of the British High Commission.

We will be delighted to welcome Kenya’s new Oxford and Cambridge students to the Oxbridge community and help them prepare for the journey ahead.

Who We Are
The Oxford and Cambridge Society of Kenya is one of the oldest Oxbridge alumni societies outside the UK. Founded on 27 March 1926 at the Nairobi Club, the OCSK has strengthened ties between graduates of the two universities and directed their social and charitable efforts back home. We are a volunteer-run, non-profit society. Our membership is global, diverse, and united by our special connections to Kenya.

We encourage all our members to organise gatherings wherever they are in the diaspora!
